Seasons Greetings from Furman Musical Arrangements!

With the fall show choir arranging season winding down, I decided to use some of the random instruments around the office to make a video for the holiday season. This arrangement of the chant tune "VENI EMMANUEL" uses an ocarina to carry the melodic line, with support from melodica and piano, accompanied by viola in a 3-part canon. Someone told me once that they disliked this tune for its usual, dirge-like feel, so I decided to run in the opposite direction and make it as exciting as I could!
